A photo Album is a grouping of photo galleries in your IDX Blogger website. An Album is created using existing photo galleries. Click here to see how to create a photo gallery.
Step 1: Create an Album to be included in posts and pages. From the “Manage” menu, click “Album”.
Step 2: Enter a name for your Album, and click “Add”. Once the Album is added, select it from the drop down list on the left to add galleries to this Album.
Step 3: Drag and drop photo galleries from the right hand side onto the space on the left hand side. The galleries added to the left are the ones that will be included with this Album. Remember to click the “Update” button above to save your changes.
Step 4: From the WordPress page editor, click the “Add NextGEN Gallery” button.
Step 5: Select the “Album” tab. Then choose your Album from the drop down list. Click the “Insert” button to add it to the editor. Please note that you will only see some special text in the post editor, and it will not appear as an album until you save and view the post.
Your Album is now viewable on post/page once it has been saved.
There is no better way to illustrate a point in your blog post or page than by adding an image. Pages with images are also far more attractive to the human eye, so you can hold the attention of your internet visitors for longer. You can also add a Gallery of images into a post or page. Click here for information on Adding a Gallery. You can quickly and easily add an image to your IDX Blogger site by following the steps below.
Step 1: Click the “Add Image” button above the edit window of your post/page.
Step 2: Click the “Browse” button to select an image from your local computer to insert.
Step 3: Find and select an image from your computer.
Step 4: Click the “Upload” button to copy the image from your computer to your IDX Blogger site for use.
Step 5: You may optionally edit the details of this image file. Click “Insert into Post” when you are done.
Your image has now been copied to your IDX Blogger site and has been included in this post/page.
Featured listings are available as either the “Featured Listings Widget” or you may also create a blog post featuring a home. A blog post that features a home does not get any information from the MLS system, and will only include the information that you type or the pictures and galleries that you place.
A great Featured Listings page should include more information and detail than an MLS listing, and adding a Gallery of your own images can really show the property the way it should be seen. Take a look at the blog post below for a great example of how a featured listing could look on your IDX Blogger site:
A slideshow is a great way to show off a gallery of images that you created. Visitors to your site will see an elegant picture on the right hand side of your site, and the picture changes every few seconds to the next image in the gallery. Follow the instructions below to add a similar slideshow to your site:
Step 1: A Gallery must already exist for the slideshow to use. Click here to see how to create a gallery and add images.
Step 2: Go to Design > Widgets
Step 3: Click “Add” next to the NextGEN Slideshow widget.
Step 4: Click “Edit” on the slideshow widget bubble on the right hand side.
Step 5: Select which gallery you would like this slideshow to use. You can also change the size of the slideshow display. Please note that increasing the size too much can affect the layout of your page.
Step 6: Click “Save Changes”, and your slideshow is now located on the right hand side of your website.
A gallery of images is a great way to add some character and content to a page or blog post. A gallery can even be displayed as a slideshow included into a page, post, or even as a sidebar widget. Follow the instructions below to include a gallery or slideshow in a blog post.
Step 1: Create the Gallery before writing your blog post. From the “Manage” menu, click “Add Gallery”.
Step 2: Name your new Gallery and save it. Click “Upload images” to define which images will be included in this gallery.
Step 3: Click “Browse” to find images on your local computer. Once you have selected one, you may click Browse again to add more images. Select which Gallery these images should be added to, then click “Upload Images” to move all of your selected images from your computer to the gallery.
Step 4: Insert your new gallery into a post using the “Add NextGEN Gallery” button.
Step 5: Select which gallery to add to this post, as well as the display type. An “image list” will display a grid of your pictures, while a Slideshow will show a single image that changes every few seconds.
Step 6: Once your blog post or page is saved, the Gallery will appear on the client side (Please note that the gallery will not display in the edit window but will add some special text instead.)
